I am Becky.
I am a devoted mother to Cole, Sydni & Zoey. They are the light of my life and I am thankful for them every day! I am also “super wife” to Lonnie, the love of my life and my best friend. We are a multi-racial family; Lonnie is black with a whole lot of other stuff mixed in, I am white with a lot of Native American, and the kids are all of that AND a bag of chips!
I lead my motley crew in new adventures every day. We love to just BE! Life is an adventure every day and we intend to make the most of it.
As for myself, my greatest enjoyment in life (other than the family) is to read voraciously. I have my nose in a book as often as possible. If I am not reading, then I like to just be outside. Anything will do, as long as there is fresh air and sunshine. I even like rain and snow as a matter of fact. Many days you can find me curled up under a tree with a book – it’s the best of both worlds! I am a big camping fan and I don’t get to do that often enough.
I like to cook, although not as much these days. Something about it being a daily chore tends to suck the zest out of it.
I dance to the beat of my own drum and I am taking the family along for the ride. I am an alternative living fan; from natural pregnancy and birthing, to breastfeeding, baby wearing, cloth diapering, attachment parenting and now homeschooling.
Jesus is the center of my life, and the greatest source of comfort, peace and joy for me. I have a wonderful church family, and my faith is constantly growing. All I can really say is God is amazing!
